Vendor Information

Vendors and service contractors will observe the following rules while doing working in the Chiquita Center. This applies to all areas of the building and the parking garage. If you have any question about the following rules, please contact the Management Office at 513-579-1144.

1. The building is open to from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday, and from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday. Any vendors or contractors needing access to the building after these hours must make arrangements with the Management office. Any work that interferes with the occupants of the building or disrupts tenants is restricted to after building operating hours as defined above.

2. All deliveries, equipment and freight must be loaded onto the service elevator. NO deliveries, equipment or freight is to be taken up a passenger elevator. Deliveries requiring extended use of the service elevator must be coordinated with the Management Office. Please be aware of the size of the delivery truck, since the dock spaces are limited in size. The building loading dock has one 40’ x 8’ space. There are four other 21’ x 8’ spaces. Please plan deliveries with these dimensions in mind.

3. Companies transporting deliveries, equipment or freight should be informed that they might need to transfer their delivery onto hand trucks in order to transport materials within the building. This is necessary to protect the carpeting on each floor. Excessively dirty hand trucks will not be permitted in the building. During major office move-ins, we require the use of masonite or similar protection over the carpet.

4. Vendors and contractors must sign in with security upon arrival. Security will provide vendor and contractors with a temporary building badge which must be worn at all times while working in the Chiquita Center. The Security Console is located in the lobby of the building.

5. Access to mechanical spaces, telephone rooms, electrical rooms, and rise closets are provided by security. All requests must be approved in advance by engineering, building management, or a tenant (depending upon the room and the nature of the work being performed).

6. All trash generated from the move should be removed by vendor, delivery company, contractor, etc. The compactor in the loading dock may not be used for this extraordinary trash removal

7. All companies that provide services for Chiquita Center and its tenants are required to provide the Management office with a certificate of insurance. Please see the link above for specific requirements.

8. All service contractors working projects in the Chiquita Center are required to review and sign off on the Contractor Site Rules and Regulations and return to the Management office before the commencement of the project. Please see the link above for a copy of this document.
