Location:
The Chiquita Center loading dock is located off 5th Street, between Main Street and Sycamore Street, in Paulding Alley. Paulding Alley runs between the backside of the Chiquita Center and the Federal Building.
Loading Dock
Loading dock hours are 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The dock is available at other times through coordination with the Management Office. There is a 20-minute unloading limit for vehicles using the loading dock. Access longer than 20-minutes can also be coordinated with the Management office. During normal hours, no reservations can be made for the loading dock, spots are available on a first come, first serve basis.
All deliveries should be directed to the loading dock. This entrance will be secured after normal business hours and access can be obtained by pressing the intercom call box button located at the dock. If you expect a large delivery please contact the Management Office at 579-1144, in order to prevent conflicting uses of the dock and freight elevator.
Please be aware of the size of the delivery truck since the dock spaces are limited in size. The building loading dock has one 40’ x 8’ space. There are four other 21’ x 8’ spaces on the loading dock. Deliveries should be planned with these dimensions in mind.
For Tenants: If your delivery person will deliver only to the dock and not to your space, please be prepared to accept the delivery yourself and remove it from the loading dock.
Freight Elevator
The freight elevator is available during building hours. Access to the freight elevator is on a first come first serve basis. If you need access to the freight elevator after building hours or for an extended amount of time please coordinate these arrangements with the Management Office. After-hours, the tenant will be responsible for the cost associated with the security guard to operate the elevator.
